Journal of Language Situation and Language Service (JLSLS) (Print ISSN 3078-3755; Online ISSN: 3104-5065) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. JLSLS publishes two issues each year in both Chinese and English. There are no Article Processing Charges (APC) for submissions, and all content is fully open access. 

Scope and Topics 

JLSLS focuses on a wide range of topics related to language situation and language service, including:

• •  Language planning, language governance, language survey

• •  Language translation, language teaching

• •  Language competence, language function

• •  Language resources and protection

• •  Language industry, language consumption

• •  Language and culture inheritance

This journal encourages interdisciplinary research, particularly on emerging topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence in language situation and language service. In line with international standard, JLSLS does not have fixed  sections or columns, but accepts high-quality research within these areas of focus.
